Summer Reading

Summer 2007 — North Florida students have been assigned In His Steps by Charles Sheldon. All high school students should read this novel and complete an assignment on it before the first day of school. Pick up a copy of the Summer Reading Assignment in the high school office.

Curriculum Guide

The following list contains the required novel for the school year as well as some books recommended by Mr. Bowman. Students should read the selections for the grade they are entering next year and any selections from previous years which they have not already read. Students will be tested on the required reading during the school year; they should read these titles during the break and then once again when the class reads each one. Recommended titles will add to a student’s knowledge of classic novels and supplement the required reading. Students may test on the recommended reading for extra credit in Mr. Bowman’s class.

This autobiographical account of God’s marvelous provision in a Nazi concentration camp is a definite must-read for all Christians. Mrs. Bowman and I have visited Ravensbruck in Germany!
